Why Em FITT?
For starters my name is Emily, people call me Em! There is also meaning to the two T’s. The F.I.T.T. Principle is one of the foundations of exercise. It is a set of guidelines that help to determine a workout routine to fit your goals and fitness level. Finding the best balance of this principle enables you to get the most out of your exercise program.
The F.I.T.T. Principle:
Frequency- How often you exercise
Intensity- How hard you work during exercise
Time- How long you exercise
Type- The type of activity you are doing
